Our experienced divers harvest Southern Australian Periwinkles by hand, where they find the gastropod on rocky reefs at depths to 20m from the clear, pristine waters of the Southern Ocean. Sustainable fishing in South Australia is closely managed by SA Fisheries.

Distinctive in appearance with bands of contrasting colours, the periwinkle is protected with a unique, pure white, circular shield, called an operculum.
For over 20 years, harvesting and supplying periwinkles to the live market with any continuity. WILD HARVEST’S pre-cooked & shelf-stable periwinkles have finally overcome this problem.
PURGING:
Prior to cooking, periwinkles are placed in clear filtered seawater to remove any sand and debris in the shell.
